The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has secured full refunds to victims who were tricked into buying expensive “tech support” services by NTS IT Care, an Indian call center claiming to be affiliated by Apple and Microsoft.
In 2020, a $4.9 million settlement was reached between the FTC and NTS CEO Jagmeet Singh Virk, who is still being tried as a criminal with the Department of Justice.
The average refund per victim is $937, and the victims will have 90 days to cash their settlement checks. This is more than the up to $499 the 272 known victims had to pay to “immediately repair” their computers.
Virk and his company have been permanently banned from selling or marketing any tech support service and benefiting from any personal data they collected from their customers, as well as conducting misleading telemarketing practices and collecting payment from their victims.

These scammers have been scamming America for 13 years according to the BBB and it needs to stop! I want everyone to use FireRTC and keep calling these bakrichods all day long!! They will block your number after a while, so use FireRTC to change your number after they do it.

Also search this scammer.info, the phone number may have been posted earlier.
Call the number and see how the scammer responds. Example they may say “Premium Techie Support” or “NTS Care”. These are infamous big scammers.
Also do search twitter tweets.
