Free Walmart Gift Woucher

877-729-1554 – Same old free woucher and all you have to do is give them 3.99 from you credit card. Active as of

3/25/20 1145 CT.

Somehow he verified a fake name, a fake card and a fake address. So he could clean out my bank account. I asked him what kind of evil person would do this. He said nasty things to me. EVIL.

@JusticeinTexas#133115 This number is now going to some automated Coronavirus testing kit sales pitch, selling one, two, three or four COVID-19 testing kits. One kit can be had for the low price of $79.95 and will be delivered to your door in the next few days. It’s all voice recordings, pressing the pound key after each prompted response.

Here are my results from this scam-baiting call.

Thanks for the fun!

@JusticeinTexas#133115 Finally got through to the gift card call center - and had my choice of either a $100 store card, or a $50 dinner card. Opted for the $100 of course! But when I gave her my address, she kept saying it was “not popping up”. I kept asking “popping up where” and she just kept having me repeat and spell the address over and over and making all kinds of weird noises. At one point, it sounded like she was farting! i must have repeated the address to her two dozen times and still no dice. I wonder what they are using to check them… the address I used was in the middle of nowhere, but you can pull it up in Google maps.

We never did really get past the address thing, but she just went ahead and moved on to the payment. I told her I didn't have a Mastercard or Visa, but I did have a "Select Funding Platinum Card". I actually do have that - it was sent to me in the mail, and is a 'promotional' card. Right on the back it says "This is not a credit card", but it sure looks like the real deal, complete with gold embossed numbers and lettering on the front. She tried and tried to get that card to work. Again, she had me read the numbers to her a few dozen times. After futzing around with me for almost a half hour, she just gave up and said they couldn't send me my $100 thing and hung up.

@Otis#133168 I talked to a guy who took an expired debit card that I had a gotten for a refund for my contact lenses. I just changed the expiration date. He took my false name and address. I gave him a Texas address with a Vermont phone number (both burners) and a fake SSN. He actually gave me a confirmation number. When he said that was it, I asked him how he verified all that. He said in the Visa system. Wow, I said, I gave you fake everything! SORRY? Too bad, because he was so excited thinking he had acces to my bank account. I asked him what kind of a person steals from somebody who just told them they were out of work. That is when he called me the b word and the c word. I called back and got the COVID19 testing kit thingy. Disgusting people.

@Otis#133168 Dude you kept a refund scammer going for an hour?!? You are the man, I can’t get them to hang more than a few minutes.

@Eviltaco799#133428 It is indeed active again! I gots me one of those $100 gift cards on the way to my address… errr… well, to some address - in Montana near a river I think. Only costed me $2.95 for postage and handling! I know it’s coming because I got me one of those confirmation codes too! Funny though, they apparently took and confirmed my bogus Mastercard that was from a bank in Pakastan (Union Bank Ltd.). Too bad he didn’t ask for the banks customer support number like the zero interest rate guys, as I had that on hand as well (hint: You have to dial 011 then 92 first if calling from the US). No worries though, he gave me the customer support number to call should I have any questions or problems receiving the card ( 1-800-614-6055 ).

Very weird setup. The initial contact takes down your info, then hands off to the senior person to close the deal. He then started some automated system that asks all the stuff all over again along with a few more questions, all the while listening in on the call and interjecting whenever you object or deviate off the question asked.

Finally, they launch into a bunch of those prerecorded 'offers' that only cost a few bucks up front, and then automatically start a recurring monthly charge unless you call and cancel. Typical shady offers and snakeoil deals that many people fall into unwittingly. Only wasted 15 minutes, but it is the weekend, so it's slim pickings!

I had talk with them. same script as @Otis#133431 . Now the call is not getting connected. Did it die again or they blocked me?

I had them for 22 minutes, 9 seconds. Mr. Andy Santiago from Sarasota, FL, was the very helpful young man who walked me through the entire process. I’ll also be receiving the $100 gift card, to be mailed to some random address in Winter Haven, FL. I only had to pay $2.95, charged to my Mastercard issued by China Construction Bank.

Like Otis, I also had to listen to a series of pre-recorded offers. The call got extended because after the last recorded pitch, Lenny took over the call and Mr. Andy Santiago didn't know what to do with him. Then Tunak tunak played, that's when he hang up.

I called 877-729-1554 , by the way.

@LastCow#133436 If you call the customer support number the guy gave me, it plays a “hours of operation” message if they are closed, and then hangs up. But, if you press “1” during the message, you get their voice mail
