Friend’s been getting hit by some IRS scammers recently, but I managed to get the numbers.
New Jersey: 732 348 3267
New York: 914 363 5602
New York: 315 308 4096
Oklahoma: 580 366 2759
I don't got the tools for getting a little payback but I'm sure someone here might like them.
@Eviltaco799#30370 I will try them on Monday. They know that the IRS won’t call on the weekend so they don’t work weekend nights (it is the middle of the night there when it is day here). Only the inexperienced ones do that and I have never gotten thru to one during the weekend.
Yeah these guys were calling during the week. I love the voice mail one left talking about how they’re sending cops 'n shit. No wonder these guys only prey on the elderly and disabled as they don’t got a good BS filter.
@LifeVestedSailor#30392 They all use the same script and have been since I started doing this in 2009. They don’t get only the elderly and the disabled to buy into it, they scare a lot of ordinary taxpayers into it too.
@LifeVestedSailor#30392 Read this scam baiting that went on for two days for some ideas and a good laugh.

@LifeVestedSailor#30360 Monday, May 14 –
732-348-3267 is not in service
914-363-5602 is a spoofed number – DO NOT CALL
315-308-4096 rings once and hangs up.
580-366-2759 is not in service
@JusticeinTexas#30483 They must move on pretty quick.
They get burner numbers or something?
@LifeVestedSailor#30501 They are using VOIP. They use a computer to autodial numbers one after the other and hope that someone will pick up the message and get scared and call them. When we scam bait them they will sometimes change it right away. It depends on the operation. The cheap call centers don’t and sometimes use the same one for days. More sophisticated ones can send the number to a REAL number like the one you put up that I called and got a real person to whom I then explain the scam. Some can detect when we are using VOIP ourselves and don’t pick up or reject our calls. And then some keep a record of who they called and if your number is not in their database, they won’t bite. I use both VOIP and a burner to call them. On my cell burner, they cannot tell it is anything but a cell phone but I can’t record.
Thanks for the info on this. I just posted up another number that might be a victim of the same process.
