Illuminati at 201-378-3219 as well. Wants $200 to get items at temple. Traced to Nigeria

Quick update - this post took a bit to get approved (which I totally understand and appreciate) but I actually did call the number right after I attempted to post it last night.

I used a voice changer, insisted that I’d been a member in good standing for years, but the paperwork must have been messed up. He sent me a list of items that would be in my initiation kit, which included mustard seed. I told him I had mustard seed in the kitchen and he said “well, that will save you $20 at most”. He wanted cash app or crypto. I told him in my day, the price of entry for the illuminati must be paid in blood. He didn’t seem to care. I talked to him for around 15 min before I had to make dinner.

While I did record, this was my first attempt so I derp’d and had my mic muted on OBS. Womp womp.

This scam was so obviously fake I thought there was no way it was an actual scam and not a joke. Nothing I said phased the scammer, no matter how ridiculous (except when I turned off the voice changer and said I had to go make dinner and couldn’t play anymore - and even that just made him hang up without comment). His insistence on the truth of his scam despite how silly the pretense and how obviously fake the delivery was almost impressive.

The only other interesting details were that he claimed to be a Jamaican based in New Jersey, but that the kit itself contained items that could only be found in West Africa and everything seems to align to @elmafisher 's findings.
