Hey, guys! I’m trying to sign up for FireRTC for more than a month now, but they don’t take new accounts ever since I’m trying. It says it is temporary, but the time that passed is not insignificant. I know, that there was such a discussion recently, but the alternative that you guys suggested- textnow.com also has some issue with registrations.
Since I don’t have an account in FireRTC and can’t connect with the customers support, could some of you, guys, research for me for when do they estimate that the issue will be resolved. Also any suggestions for alternative online telephones or mobile apps would be highly appreciated! I’m using only Skype for now, but IRS scams are most interesting for me, and they rarely provide toll free number.

I think they may need revenue to pay the bills. You could try buying a month to month burner phone.
@erikk77#75022 Good suggestion… unfortunately I’m not in USA and here the telecom companies don’t provide burner phones for years…
Try TextNow.

@Tails#75090 Thanks Tails! Tried it, but there also can’t make an account, something weird is happening when try to create a password, and it’s not just a one time issue… it’s like the doors for the scambaiting community are closed… every possible entrance leads to a dead end!!!

Turns out TextNow and Google Voice are not available in Europe… not in my part of Europe at least. Any other suggestions will be extremely appreciated. Also if someone wants to share a FireRTC account that I can use I will be extremely grateful!

The reason FireRTC is down is because people were using it to make bomb threats to a school. Some people reckon a call center did it to try and stop scambaiters, but I don’t think they’re smart enough to do that.
Sucks because I really want an account too.
