I called them, gave name “Sal Cucumber” and scammer believed me. I guess they’re from Baltics, maybe from Estonia.
I got welcome to commonwealth bank and a menu, then just hold music regardless of which menu item I choose. perhaps because I’m calling from a US number? Australian bank though!
I called them using Skype and Finnish prepaid mobile number. Same happened but someone answered. “Bank officer” didn’t even know in which bank he is working. Only thing he knew was that someone is using Mr. Cucumber’s identity.
