Using an automated voice, american/canadian English accent to try to bait people in North Carolina with financial hardship loans of up to $36,000. When I called back and connected with a male scammer named Raul, he wanted to know how much money I had and, once notified that I would not disclose that and I knew this was a scam, proceeded to call me a “fat f**k of a woman.” Not the most creative insults I’ve heard when confirming scams but A for effort I guess?
1st # did not work. 2nd # brought me to menu where i pushed 1. It then rang but no answer. When I called back I was blocked. 3rd number just rang. 4th # gives some weird msg that says my limit has been reached. 5th number gives me a menu but when I push 1 it says the call is from an unknown state and is not accepted.6th # says the same thing. 7th # gives me a voicemail where i left a msg to bait. 8th # just rings. 9th one the same. last # gives menu but when I pushed 1 to talk to an agent it disconnected I have a feeling however that you have many more of these though so no worries.
With the hundreds/thousands of numbers these pricks have throughout every area code, always clustered around identical other nonsense things in every area code, I have my doubts to the legitimacy of anything like these things.
Very few student loan numbers are legitimate considering there is no such thing as loan forgiveness.
All debt is paid for and that is a fact.
It all depends who pays for it in the end.
The same as this ERC/ covid employee retention act garbage. It is only available through limited places of legitimate providers. The rest of them are just scammers trying to phish your information and relieve you of cash through mindless advance fee fraud
This is an active number and unfortunately the scammer ‘Alex’ barely has any Indian accent. This needs to be shut down because his lack of accent would make him more effective.

It will use your caller ID to say they are from that state
Just a heads up these are USA scammers and have nothing to do with India, the way so many tens of thousands of numbers route to US call centres.
Not all scams are from India.
I can prove there is more active numbers routing to US scammers than Indians
Most of these call centres are in Florida, California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.
I’ve traced many of them in the past but rarely have time these days.
It’s of little significance where their location is anyway.
I spend my valuable time in tracking down active numbers rather than locations

I’ve gotten some of these calls. I’ve called back and played along. I was connected to two businesses. Both those businesses are in the “debt relief” business and are registed in there states.
So I sent a demand letter and threatened to sue both of them for violating the TCPA. They both paid me not to be sued!
