Additional information about this scam: They called to see if I was interested in final expense policies. Calling the number back goes straight to an agent. Final expense scams are well documented, these people target the elderly, often spoof their number, and violate the do not call list. Often their goal is to obtain bank account information.
I get a lot of different people on this number.
“Roger” appears to be a soundboard…
Said they would call me back tomorrow morning…
He asked if I wanted a final expense plan.
I told him that I already had one.
So he asked “what about your wife?”
I told him that “I already have a plot to bury my wife.”
