Okay so this isn’t a big deal or anything but it is pretty fun. I wasn’t going to share this but what the hell.
I called these scammers a few days back and he gave me the passkey for their remote app etc... I said oh man that was wrong lets try another one. It was 2 numbers higher and I realized these retards go in numerical order.
I downloaded the program and started entering codes....if it is too high of a number it will throw up an error message. If not it will launch a "server" process and connect with whoever is at the other end. I usually enter the last 5 numbers I can without the error message (trial and error to find where this is) and someone connects within 1-5 minutes, almost every time.
They always try and look up WTF is going on and then I pull up a picture of 2 gay dudes going at it LMAO it's hilarious, to me at least :D
I'm guessing when the scammer gives the victim a key code and has the connection open, it connects to my VM
instead...not sure but it's pretty funny. Maybe it disrupts them maybe it doesn't.
Here is the site with the program - http://www.geekshelp1.me
Right now they are on number: 164933. It increases by a few hundred every day.
This window below means your number is too high and that connection hasn't been opened yet.
haha nice...either way (saving victim or ruin scambait), it's great to confuse these idiots. Every phone call and every remote session they will wonder if it's real.
America Geeks who are well known scammers are using this Remote Access Tool and they are going in consecutive order with the pair key numbers. about 5 minutes ago they were using pair key: 756459. seems to be going up fairly quickly.
There is no doubt they are scammers. I spoke with these clowns the other day. They went and showed me the stopped services and wanted $399.99 to fix it.
Update: They have changed to using a 7 digit Pair Key which is now around: 8217190. They also appear to be blocking IP addresses from Non-English speaking countries.
