Figured I should start reporting these 209-283-2548

Don’t know exactly what scam because they only left me one cut-off voicemail saying:

“283-2548 as we are beginning the legal protocols against you I repeat the direct line for your escalation is 209-283-2548 thank you”

Same number repeated is the one that called me. Phone says they are from Jackson California. (We all know that’s probably not true.)

I got a Ryan Murphy/Henry Garza. He was a good sport when I recited the majority of WAP to him for 10 minutes and then made fun of him. I said I bet his family was proud of him and that his future wife and children will rejoice when they hear what he does for a living. Thank you for sharing.

@Ripleycat#161487 I got me a Mr. Leon Scott to pre-screen me - he was pretty fun but really, really bad English. Eventually passed me off the senior dude, Shawn Jones. Much better english, but he sounds like he is constantly trying to suck something from between his teeth the whole time he is speaking. He got hung up on the fact that I haven’t had a SS card in over 40 years… you see, when I was a kid, my mom washed my pants with my wallet in it! Dang thing just fell apart… but I never needed it, nobody ever wanted to see it, and it just sat there in my wallet taking up room, so I never bothered getting another one. I must have gone on about that for almost 10 minutes until I think he now knows about how useless a physical social security card is. Anyway, I eventually got tired of his rather arrogant attitude, so started pushing back and confronting what he was saying. When he said they were going to suspend my SSN and issue me another one so they could catch them nasty money launderers, I pushed back “Wow Shawn, that sounds reasonable but unfortunately, it would also be illegal, which scares me even more. Are you trying to get me to do something illegal? I certainly hope not, being this is a federally recorded line and all that…”.

A slight pause, then right back into the script about how the "law enforcement agencies" at the courthouse have given legal authorization to suspend my SSN at this very right moment for blah, blah, blah....". When asked which 'law enforcement agencies' gave the authorization, he just fell back to the SSA. I kept pressing and he eventually had enough and hung up disappointed. Further attempts to call have not made it through.

Just called these guys myself. The guy gave me a phone number to text him at for drivers license verification.

I got Ryan Murphy badge ID SSA85420 case ID CP7010 and was transferred to Ray Moore badge ID SSA49938 and he wanted me to text him a pic of my drivers license to 682 324 6465. So I sent him some pics alright.

This one’s still active, I think after 10 calls they’re onto me, but you might have good luck,

Had the first one going for a while until I asked him simple questions like who the VIce President was, enlisted my wife, she had them going as 'Mia Khalifa, no not that one" for a while too
