Additional information about this scam: Got a call today 1/10/2023 at 2:39 pm central time. Called back and got a bot. Just say “continue” and “yes” to get past the bot. Then a “enrollment specialist” will pick up. Mine sounded American. He just answered as “student loan department”. Also sounded like they were at home not at a call center.
Remember to protect your hard earned nonexistent federal student loans at all times!
