I’ve found that if I play the “critical alert” sound clip in the background, the scammer on the line believes that I’m an actual victim and not a scambaiter. I’m curious to know if anyone else has done this tactic before?
I've found that if I have it playing in the background, they dont disconnect as quickly, and I can actually get them to give me a support ID, which gets reported. I also have found that they are more inclined to connect to my virtual machine, allowing me to tie the line up even longer.
I've posted the link to the sound file here - [alertmicrosoftmp3.mpga](replace/assets/files/2018-04-27/01:15:410-alertmicrosoftmp3.mpga)
