Someone I know was having problems on his PC and somehow got connected to this “company”. They supposedly fixed the issue and charged him $599.99 for…I believe…something he doesn’t need. Can someone more knowledgeable please check this out and let me know if this is a scam. I advised them to call Amex and dispute the charge. This is the email they sent me with all the numbers of this so called tech support company:

The website looks like a typical Wordpress template fake business, with a residential “business” address, lots of generic techy blatherizing and grammar errors, and stock-photo “customer testimonials” including this one from a Mr. “Hugh Saturation” (ha ha ha).
Thanks. I also found that fake website. I told these elderly people… who are not at all tech savvy…that it’s a scam and to make sure they dispute the charge immediately!
