filthy fake SSN scammers
@Louie45#132613 What a touchy bunch… I kept asking the young lady what a “loan enforcement agency” was. Whops, that caused a reboot in her brain, so she just repeated the same line again from the beginning. I asked again what a “loan enforcement agency was” - reboot and repeat. Guess she got tired of rebooting and hung up - and they have now blocked me ![]()
Time to try again as granny in Virginia :)
Well, granny got through, and I’m on my way to the bank right now. Slimey bastard wants me to max out my credit card (over $10K) even though I only have about $3K in the bank. SOB. And poor granny on a fixed income can’t even afford a cell phone. What a waste of skin these guys are. More to follow as the saga continues ![]()
@Otis#132627 Edna finally called him back after several hours, and had to sadly inform Mr. Johnson that she was unable to get any cards. Apparently all the stores are closed due to the virus thing. Told him she must have gone to a dozen places or more… Walmart, Target, CVS, etc… and they were all closed. Said she asked one person who wouldn’t let her in when they will re-open, and he said not until Monday.
But - I do have what appears to be his personal phone number. When I called it, I could hear his kid asking him stuff in the background, what sounded like a TV playing, and street noises in the background including a siren going by at one point. He claimed he was speaking to me from outside the police station :)
If you want to continue messing with him:
His pretend name is Sam Johnson (ID #457D45)
His phone number is 512-831-0124
I told him I would try again tomorrow as some stores are open for a short period of time, otherwise I'd try again on Monday when my daughter gets back. He wants me to call him back when she gets the cards. He couldn't call me back because I was leaving to go to a dinner party at a neighbors and I had to bring the tuna casserole. I don't know... maybe Edna got robbed and that was the last number dialed on the phone when they found her unconscious on the floor? Was all the money in her purse stolen? I dunno... <evil grin>
