Additional information about this scam: The website is served as a Google search ad for “123.hp.com/setup”. The agent answered “Thank you for calling HP Printer Support.” I asked “to whom am I speaking” and he replied “my name is … [ long pause ] … David Smith.”
“Are you sure your name is David Smith?”
“No mam, it is an alias we are using here.”
“David Smith’s” favorite color is black.
Google ad bought by a “John Kelley” of United States which narrows it down considerably!
