Additional information about this scam: The site is pushed via deceptive Google search ads by “Vir Techify.” I got a call from a masked “private” number from Wictor with the Canon Printer Support. Wictor said this masked number was because he was calling me “from the Canon server.” He gave me a callback number but I was unable to confirm it. Wictor claimed to want to help with my “fatal error” but he was no help at all and wouldn’t even verify his favorite color.
