Additional information about this scam: I spoke to C. N. Carter from Alpha Tech Shield Printer Support. Soon the phone at least, they do not impersonate printer manufacturers. But the fake “downloading” charade and fake error on their website (above) mean this could only be a scam. C. N. could not verify his favorite color because it seemed like he didn’t know how to use a telephone.
