I had to submit to the fraud, and didnt have a free choice.
this person has manipulated me for 4 days, and convinced me under duress and commanded me to send them a total of 2000.00. She is a very bad person.
i sent this person eth crypto, amex gift cards, paypal, etransfer. The person was blackmailing me and extorting me, when money got put on hold the person demanded I sent more. The person commanded me under duress to send 2000.00 and I could not stop during it, until I told someone and deleted the person.
Number is dead now.

The person has been texting me today using a new number on whatsapp, +16786716236, The persons paypal account is frozen and they want me to help get it unfrozen, but has not sent me any money back as a refund. They are claiming they cannot access over 5k on the paypal account, paypal has locked it out as a scam account for spoofing, phising and scamming/fraud [email protected] but they say the only way I can make a claim on the funds, is via a chargeback from my bank. But he cannot access the money anymore. The paypal account says its a oversea account.

The person I was negotiating with, wanted their paypal, unfrozen, so I told them return the items you bought with the gift cards and restore the balance to them, or send me some of my money, and they refused. But wanted me to convince paypal to unfreeze their account.
I have reported it to my bank but I have to wait 3 to 10 businesses days hopefully for a charge back to paypal. I sent 2000.00 dollars because they kept convincing me the money was on hold from paypal and it had to be sent right away, but it was frozen instead by paypal bc it was flagged as a scam/phishing. So they convinced me to buy amex gift cards and send coinbase crypto or send to another email address, and that I would be refunded. But their account was locked out. The first refund I have recieve for $500 is " * Payout of buyer spoof unauth" but I am still missing 400 in gift cards, 300 in crypto, and 800 via paypal.
Let’s hope the scammer gets caught and gets locked up. The scammer’s PayPal account should stay frozen until they learn.

I agree, they should not be able to access their money via paypal for this, as they are abusing the family and friends feature for financial gain via scams, theft, fraud, blackmail, extortion, and commanding people to complete tasks they are assigned, under duress. That is not what the feature is for, it is not for commercial fraud.
Holy hell! I’m not sure how your bank can help you out. I’m certain that they are well versed in scams. As for the gift cards, those are gone. Dag. These knuckleheads are ruthless
yeah i know, i tried to cancel what they bought and have it returned but I coulnt find the merchant. The amex woulnt stop it and swipe woulnt either, you have to contact the seller, and have the item returned which you dont have. I am just trying to get back the money from paypal, but the crypto is gone as well. It added up fast, the part that got me was when the money got put on hold, and they demanded i send more other ways quickly.
Hello everyone, I just wanted to share some good news, I was able to recuperate $1300.00 via remittance transfer error with paypal via a abusive account breaching their user agreement, I am now only out $700.
Congrats! I’m so happy action is being taken. These ruthless rock-heads don’t know any better. They think stealing is the only way out of poverty.
