I called back a few times and the “Offer” changed. I was connected to what seemed to be a legit company. I informed her they may have been spoofed by scammers but she was clueless.

These scammy leadgens are on literally tens, possibly hundreds of thousands of numbers right across every area code and toll free prefix.
There are just as many of the equally ridiculous $100 retail rebate vouchers, under the true guise of trying to give some legitimacy to credit card fraud.
I get sick of hearing them in some sections of real estate, they can literally be on every number.
I’ve logged in excess of 250 consecutive numbers with $100 vouchers on them and roughly the same with leadgen trash.
There are several types of leadgen offers. A lot of insurance associated stuff on numbers waiting for a misdial the only logical assumption or conclusion.
The gift card numbers send out random number robocalls all the time to solicit callbacks. I have hundreds of numbers and haven’t ever got a robocall from a leadgen number.
We destroy hundreds of call center numbers every day. The first thing which is often heard in the majority of them once the number is switched off and discarded, gift vouchers and to a lesser extent leadgens appear immediately.
Who put them there, or are they there all along ready to revert once the number is no longer in use?
I can show hundreds of toll free numbers which were known scams and now host $100 vouchers on them full time.
“Call Haven Partners” being notorious for hosting $100 retail rebate vouchers on toll free numbers immediately after having fake popups on them.

This number I’ve listed as a $100 retail voucher number a long time ago on the 21st of July, but had it stored for some time before listing it

I can show mountains of evidence of it without effort.
I’ve tried to investigate who puts these things on the numbers, virtually on all allocated blocks to carriers for retail resale.
They don’t just get there themselves seemingly by magic.
The only reasonable assumption is there is a lot of profiting from this intended outcome of economic misery or despair.

Mysterious things in an industry not known at all for any semblance of ethical behavior.
That’s a fact which can be taken to the bank!

Another instance of Call Haven Partners, is this number also listed as a $100 retail rebate voucher number in the same list on 21st of July

Yep I’ve investigated the big picture for many years.
As I said the gift card isn’t the con…its all about the credit card fraud.
Interesting…I watched this a few hours ago…topical and coincidental much?

I really need to finish off this several year long investigation, collecting 51 numbers, websites and evidence no-one but victims of this shit know anything about.
There is so many different types of this same blatant fraud out there, which make the refund and tech support crap pale into obscurity on the total dollar amount scale. Its very sad predators are so predominant in daily life

Cheats, con artists, grifters, fraudsters and habitual liars come in so many forms.
Many are idolized to the hero status they project by millions of sheeple who wouldn’t know up from down.

The $116 million dollar career con artist being just one example of the many.

I rarely call anyone with the intention to speak to any of them these days
I don’t need to after so many tens of thousands of bait calls over the years.

I have hundreds of these bullshit artists who get to the fine print part and start speaking so fast there is barely a single legible word amongst the gobbledegook.

Hundreds of them start playing their verification recording process for their purpose of proving you signed up for this shit, then letting go with a DTMF tone spammer which sends their computers into a meltdown spasm and they need to reboot quite often. :joy:
They start screaming “don’t press the buttons on the phone”.
I didn’t shithead…the special button on my system did it…I just pressed that button.
They lose their fucking minds when you keep doing it and crashing their systems with so many tones their tiny little processors can’t handle the critical overload.

They are some of the dumbest creatures on earth breath has ever been farted into.
