Was chatting with “Angela” as the site was taken down. She sent me a long list of insults in Hindi 
@DrFunfrock - The same fake Norton activation page will be just be hosted somewhere else. How can we find it again? It’s just a game of whack-a-mole but it’s worth it.
I found that site using Google search “norton.com /setup”. It is a easy way to find Norton imposters.

Reported to [email protected] . Let’s see what happens but GoDaddy is pretty good at taking sites down quickly. They are the complete opposite of Google and YT and NameCheap.

I reported it to google and they haven’t done anything yet! (It’s been 3 hours since I reported it)
I get a 404 Page Not Found but their main website ninjasetupkey.online is still active. This error may just be temporary.
Unfortunately the site is hosted by the infamous NameCheap.com, so I don’t expect any action on their part. Just google “namecheap.com scams” and be enlightened…
I’m sure if they believe that you are not messing around with them and that you are a genuine victim they will give you a call. (They will ask for your number). It’ll probably a non callbackable number but I guess it’s still good to waste their time.

I was able to find a little bit more. This is a small operation, maybe even solo. This guy is indeed based in India and has been active since at least 2016, always impersonating Norton or Microsoft. At some point he used a UK toll-free number which may still work, I can’t check, it’s 800-100-7601.
Now he’s removed everything from his fake website. If he puts some files back tomorrow I’ll do some work on it to find out more.
