How are you doing over there? I hope all is well with you and your household ? I pray this message meets you well and in a time of peace.
First I want to thank you for responding to my mail and I apologize for the way I chose to convey such a message to you and I ask for your pardon as it was due to the urgency of it. I got your contact E-mail ID from a US Army search directory here in Syria. Though you don’t know me yet, I mean no harm sending you this note and I need it to be kept with utmost confidentiality, hoping that this matter will be discussed and resolved between you and I. My name is Helen Scott and I am a Sergeant in the US Army. I am a 47 years old lady and divorced but I have a daughter who is already 16 years old and her name is Anna. I have Colombian origin but I am a citizen of the United States of America and I live in New Jersey but I am presently on deployment service here in Syria.

During a Military operation carried out by the US Forces in one of the provinces in Syria, we uncovered some amounts in US Dollars which were concealed in metallic lockers with piles of weapons and ammunition at a location near the Hideout of some Armed Groups. It was discovered by the US Army and all officers on Duty came in agreement to disburse the funds within ourselves. It was agreed by all parties present at the operation that the money should be shared among us due to the fact that we can not let the money go into the hands of those armed groups because of the damage and destruction it will cause in the lives of innocent citizens here. I am aware that this is an illegal thing to do but I’ll tell you that no compensation can make up for the risks we have taken with our lives here in Syria. The above amount (all in Notes of a 100 Dollar Denomination) was given to me as my share and to secure this huge amount of money became a problem for me, but with the help of a German contact working with the United Nations here in Syria, I was able to get my share Delivered and Deposited at the UN Diplomatic Security Cargo office in New Delhi, India.
The German contact working with the UN was able to help me send my share of the money through the United Nations Humanitarian Aid Mission to the UN Security Depot in New Delhi, India. He has listed the Box as personal belongings of a US Army Personnel who died after an air raid here in Syria. Therefore, the US Army has ordered that his personal belongings be handed over to his family. The Box is kept in a Security Vault at the UN Humanitarian Aid office in New Delhi but it can only be kept there for a limited time of 2 months. Now I need you to urgently help me receive the box from New Delhi, India. Now I want to present your details to the UN Security Depot in New Delhi as the first beneficiary to receive the Box on behalf of the US Army Family. I will provide a Power of Attorney in your name with the US Army Security Immunity Seal which will secure the box to your destination. I propose this deal to you in good faith and you will be entitled to 35% of the total amount if you are willing to help me secure the box in your House. I want you to know that this project must be kept SECRET between the two of us because the Source of Funds can not be disclosed to anyone else.

I took this money as my share because it will be more than enough to give Aid to the poor and render quality education to them. I know this is illegal for an officer to do but my dear this opportunity won’t pass me by and I ask that you do not destroy my chance and if you do not like to help me, kindly refrain from writing back to me. If you give me a positive signal, then I will give you the relevant details and initiate this process towards a conclusion. I send you this mail not with a measure of fear as to what the consequences would be, but I know within me that nothing ventured is nothing gained and that success and riches never come in a platter of gold.
