Fake Microsoft Support Scam

This tab came up saying I had a virus and to call Microsoft support. The scammers kept asking to “read off the pop-up” and when I did they would just tell me to turn off the computer so try to dodge this question. I don’t have the link to the tab that came up, it was weeks ago and all I did was take a pic of the number. I was calling them earlier and they are pretty easy to mess with.

@Zwarlie#88522 Uh, this leads to some ADT Security Systems authorized dealer company. I’m going to assume this was done on accident, please remember to always call the phone number back before posting it, as they have the opportunity to cease to work, to someone else or be forwarded to a legitimate company by the owner of the phone number.
