This number called my dad NINE times over the course of 4 hours last night, desperate to get him to reconnect to his computer so they could finish rifling through his files. We've already gotten 2 more this morning. It's a Garmin GPS Support scam. It even comes up as "GPS Support" on our caller ID. Still trying to figure out how he got connected to these guys... it looks like he visited the official Garmin site, and they got to him through a support chat there. I have yet to recreate this, however. Perhaps it's a fallout of the Garmin ransomware event a few months back? Idk, I will update if I find anything more.
Another number he was given to call was +1 (800) - 986 - 9207. It's toll-free, and I'm guessing is the call center's main number.
Judging by how much they're calling our home, I think they're a bit desperate to get some calls. Have fun! :^)
