same template as https://quakebit.com/en and others.

I actually got the same thing.

Got this as well, wanted to believe it was real. I cautiously went through the process, until it got fishy, as soon as you try to transfer your bitcoin to another wallet, it asks for a 0.02 deposit “to make sure you’re not a scammer” (hilarious) So yes, its absolutely a scam. Stay frosty boys.

Thanks Baited, got the same thing from quakeBIT

got something similar for quakebit.com, keep your wits about you

Damn I just got baited, glad I saw this.

Got the same thing from quakeBIT as well

Actually, I also got same message from rocsbit.com.

But, anyone even tried to deposit 0.02BTC?

I am a web developer, and also have experience in developing crypto exchange platforms, and I feel this is not scam.

Alex Nick is from Russia according to his profile and he’s part of the scam, I’m pretty sure.

@NeeP#128227 why do you think I am a scammer?

@alexnick#128255 your IP is Russian.

Captain here.

I give you a detailed answer. I am a software engineer and made a lot of researches of this suspicious offer.

Short answer: ITS SCAM

Long answer:

I was very curious about this offer, so i decided to register at this page and unlocked the code. Shortly after i got the 0.36 BTC on the balances pages. I tried to withdraw, but it didnt work. I needed to depost atleast 0.02 BTC to do so.

I actually decided to give it a try. I mean, hey: Sending 0.02 BTC and getting 0.36 BTC back sounds like a good deal for me. However i need to admit that this was super stupid. :-)
After depositing such amount, i realized i could not withdraw. I needed to deposit more to reach a certain "VIP status". I contacted the support about this issue.
The response timing of the support was quite good, so it felt like that someone is listening to my problems and trying to help. The support answered me and told me i need to reach VIP status by deposit another 0.08 BTC. And from here on researched the whole internet (trust me, i am a software engineer and i know how to find information).
The result was quite frustrating:
Not many experience with this platform and not even a single review on trustpilot or someother places.
I then checked the whois-domain check. I realized the domain was registered 12 days ago. So this made it more suspicious. Which company on earth would register a domain so late before going live with this platform. Also this platform seems to be very well developed and this needs a lot time.
Then i checked the Terms of Use. I found the company name "rocsBIT Financial Company OĂś", which is an estonian company suffix (OĂś = OsaĂĽhing), so i checked the official estonian-business registrar and did NOT found any entries on it.

Meanwhile a "CEO" flag appears on some support tickets. Well done. Now it looked like i directly talked to the CEO. He said that my deposit limit was reduced to 0.05 BTC, which is still too high. I faced him and answered that i would like to see a prove that the company exists.
After that, my account got banned. I could not login again. :-)
I know, i admit that i falled for their strategy and i am of course not happy with it, but atleast i can now share my experience with you guys and i hope no one will also fall for this trap.

Best
