Scammer’s Number: 850-203-4451
I just got this text delivered straight to my spam folder, saying a $799.99 transfer was being attempted, and to call (850) 203-4451 if I didn’t initiate it, because it’s fraudulent.
They don’t give any indication as to who they are, but when you call, many of the scammers claim to be Amazon, others are evasive about saying any company, hoping you’ll just assume something and maybe volunteer the info.
Today is Thursday, 23-SEP-2021. It is about 10:50 am Central now.
Yesterday, Wednesday, between 5 pm and 5:30 pm Central, I got two text messages also. Yeah, they do not have enough brains to identify fraudulently the name of the company. Is it PayPal or CashApp or a credit card company?
I just called the 850 203 4451 from my Unknown Number VOIP phone (10:47 am Central) but the call would not go through.
When just now I called from my TextNow number, and when I tried a couple of times this morning to call from my TextNow number this 850 203 4451, it rings and rings and rings and rings and then the call ends or the call drops.
Here are the TWO text messages I received with different dollar amounts.
1 or 2 text messages: Dear Customer,478900 is your OTP(One time password) to authenticate transaction of $479 USD. If not by you, Contact support for cancellation +18502034451.
2nd of 2 text messages: Alert: Are you trying to pay $799.99 USD? If yes, reply 1. If no, Call On 18502034451 to Report Fraudulent. Msg & Data rates apply.
Today they are CashApp scammers
