The scammer will send random friend requests to users on Facebook. Once accepted, the scammer will fraudulently claim your name was randomly selected for a “2024 PCH promo raffle.”
After I provided my name to confirm that I “qualify,” I was asked to provide additional information “to avoid double claiming and for security purpose.” However since the information he requested included my home address and full SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, I instead sent him a Grabify link to youareanidiot.cc and found he was actually a Nigerian Prince.
