661-410-6894 I was contacted by a scammer early this morning on Facebook messenger who offered to sell me medical marijuana and Psilocybin mushrooms from California. He gave me the following telephone number and demanded that I only text and never call him, I guess so I wouldn’t notice his vocal West African accent: 661-410-6894. I told him that I had absolutely no interest in ever buying anything that’s illegal, and that I knew from all of the fake generic cannabis photos that are on his page that he’s obviously a social media scammer. I believe he found me because I had recently like one of NORML’s political articles on Facebook. Several people from the West African country of Benin have tagged this fraudster’s account in their French language Facebook posts, including of pictures of several African men that are standing together in a single photo, one of which could be the actual scammer himself. Although he claims to be American, he has more Facebook friends from African countries than anywhere within the United States. I feel very sorry for the poor victims who actually fall for these types of cyber scams. Many of them are probably sick or disabled and are looking for their medicine in the wrong form of venue. 661-410-6894
