Facebook hack recovery scam?

My cousin got this message on his Facebook account after his had been apparently hacked causing numerous friend requests. Any ideas as to its legitimacy?

" There is this recovery team lady on instagram who recovers hacked and deactivated account or lost logins. berta.codes1 on instagram Message her if u need help. She sort mine out. you can also via her on Whatsapp +1 (667) 303‑1862"

It’s a scam, they will make you pay for the ‘hacking tools’ but then will probably ask for some more money then dip.

I’d love to bait these leeches with fake card numbers and piss them off but only if I could :frowning:
