Scammer will send random friend requests to users on Facebook. Once accepted, they will ask how you are doing and where you are from before introducing themselves as “Nancy Poole from Brighton, New York.” and asking for a picture of you.
In response, I sent them a grabify link under the guise of a selfie. Unfortunately, the scammer used a VPN and asked me not to send any more links, so I retorted by urging the scammer to not scam under the guise of “hot singles looking for love in my area.”
