Facebook DHHS SCAMMER - Ruth Clark-Rau

SCAMMER: Facebook

Scammer will send random friend requests to users on Facebook. Once accepted, they will ask how you are doing and if you have heard from the US Department of Health and Human Services as they have “won $50,000 from their program,” which “help Retired, Workers, Youth, Old and Disable with cash” and if you got your “grant” yet.

You are then asked to contact “Agent David Jones” in order to claim your “grant.” Jones is also known to have impersonated Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg

In response, I sent him a Grabify link to theannoyingsite.com that was never accessed on their end, but they did ask me to provide them with my

  • Full Name
  • Home Address
  • Phone Number
  • Monthly Income
  • Occupation
  • Sex
  • Marital Status
  • Date of Birth
  • Country.

I did try the same thing with Ruth’s account, but the scammer was unfortunately using a VPN.
