Hello. Recently my sister was hacked into her Facebook by a Nigerian scammer presumably called “Oghogho”
I was able to find this guy’s email address, his location and how he looks.
The scam is based on cryptocurrency, convincing people that ““he”” just had mined 7.000 euros and that they are in his “bank account”. And that if they want these euros too, they just need to contact his “mentor”.
The post goes as follows: it’s in italian but i will leave translation below:
“Ciao a tutti, voglio presentarvi questo investimento che sto imparando da più di 2 settimane e ho appena guadagnato oggi il mio primo profitto di 7.000 euro con l’aiuto di Sophia!
Ho imparato a scambiare 1500 euro in bitcoin e ho realizzato un profitto di 7000 euro entro 24 ore di trading e mining, tutto grazie al mio mentore Alex Sophia. Se sei interessato a investire, seguila e dille che ti ho segnalato.”
“Hello everyone, I want to introduce you to this investment that I have been learning for more than 2 weeks and I just earned my first profit of 7,000 euros today with the help of Sophia! I learned how to trade 1500 euros in bitcoin and made a profit of 7000 euros within 24 hours of trading and mining, all thanks to my mentor Alex Sophia. If you’re interested in investing, follow her and tell her I referred you.”
By investigating more further, today, i was able to gain access to the original email of which she signed for the first time on Facebook, and found his email and presumably his location. And also, i found his face on his other account “Alex Sophia” (which he deleted)
He lives in Bénin, Nigeria, and his email is:
[email protected]
This is how he looks:
Eventually, my family was “blasted” by notifications from her account, sending a story with a screenshot of a supposed receipt from those 7000€. I answered and exposed him. After that, he was so pissed off and scared that eventually he blocked me.
Sadly, after sending a lot of support tickets from Facebook, they weren’t helpful at all, and the scammer deleted her profile (or Facebook banned her profile.)
I’m not a professional scambaiter at all, but i tried my best grabbing all of those details.
