It’s definitely a phishing imitation of the real Virginia DOT ezpass site https://www.ezpassva.com/ . The toll-free number on the fake website quoted above is the genuine toll-free number – do not call it for scambaiting!

I’ve been getting a ton of these texts on my real phone number. Local news stations have been warning people it’s a scam.
