These guys are very good at what they do. I stumbled upon the website while searching on Google. I talked to someone on their live chat and they told me that a technician would be calling me shortly.
These guys were good at seeming legit. Even though they used the typical "four flag Windows key" "hold letter R" script, I was beginning to wonder if they were actually scammers.
They didn't do anything on my VM. He simply told me that I needed to update to Windows 10.
However, he noticed that I had Teamviewer installed. He quickly copied my Teamviewer ID and connected on Teamviewer. He was already connected via GoToAssist. That was when I knew for a fact that they were typical nosey scammers. They wanted to be connected to my computer in as many ways as possible.
Instead of going to the Microsoft store to buy Windows 10, they made me give them some credit card information. They also did the usual "eventviewer errors = virus" bit.
Even though they were more professional than the average scammer, they still attempted to syskey my VM when the credit card got declined.
This is a big operation with a lot of numbers. I was able to uncover a small handful of their numbers.
It would be amazing if you could find some more information on these scumbags. These guys are better at their job than the average scammer, they need to be taken down ASAP!
I have been one of their clients in the past. As much i would want to agree with the fact that tech support sites are often scammy and tend to loot visitors but in this case i had no such experience of any racial slurs or scamming attempts from their part.
I happened to had issues with my antivirus and some issues related to firewall as well on my pc, so when i searched out for tech support on the net and landed on their website, i was not sure if i should avail any services from them because i feel everyone these days is aware of ongoing scams that occur. However, i was surprised to see that they actually sorted out my issues within time and did not ask for any such details or irrelevant access to my pc or credit card account that would put my privacy at risk.
