Hi - New here so up for any good advice. I have an ESXi VM environment and wondered if anyone else in the forum has the same, and does this have any limitations over and above what can be done in Workstation and/or Virtual Box?
Also looking for some good baiting tools. I have found some but didnt know if anyone had a link to the latest stuff.
@NeonCarrot#124205 You should not have any different limitations in Oracle ESXi or ProxMox than you would in a desktop VM environment with Oracle VB or VMWare Workstation. I wouldn’t recommend using the web console on ESXi for baiting, you should use RDP.
Yeah - so far so good with my new baiting vm build and as you say, best to use RDP which I intended to do. One thing I didnt consider however is my vpn. I guess most people are using vmware running on a local machine so the hosts external IP is changed. If I install my vpn on the VM its a bit of a giveaway - any thoughts?
