Got this number from a 25-minute scambait call.
The automated voice says “Epson Customer Relations” and the Caller ID is “Epson Canada” (don’t worry though, it’s a US number).
They said that the number I was using (http://scammer.info/d/21958-funny-callcenter-24-7-1-833-808-0051/33) was “for help with money applications.” e.g. FreshBooks. They also said that 1-800-533-3731 could help me with my made-up “printer problem”.
I haven’t been able to add this number to BobRTC, my XP is too low. Feel free to add this number to the phonebook.
I chose one of my innumerable pseudonyms to register with them, (you’ll need an email and billing address) and they said I (my pseudonym) had made a payment previously of $500. I hope this isn’t one of their victims.
If you find this, note that for some reason the scammers gave me what I believe to be a real number. Why the hell would they do this? I have no idea. Don’t call them.
