Email Cryptocurrency Scams
Recently, I’ve noticed an influx in email crypto scams. I’ve been getting spam emails from “Bitcoin Canada” for the past week now. They are a large scammer chain, sending emails in bulk. They show supposedly famous crypto enthusiasts, such as Elon Musk, approving of their “trading software.” The links lead to Bitly, then https://johnlenwin.com/Tornato_Star. This site is a fake copy of the Toronto Star, a newspaper based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It announces that Elon Musk has started a new project called TeslaCoin. It’s very fake and the TeslaCoin logo looks similar to Amazon. Here are the scam photos used:

Anyways, avoid these false representations of famous people. You will end up losing all of your money because they use payment processors that allow scam or illegal businesses, even though it’s deposit by credit/debit card.
