Posted on an alert website, this numbe ris impersonating ConEd with an answering system that could potentially fool people.
They threaten people to cut off power in the middle of a huge winter storm… PIECES OF SHIT, please call them if you have a few minutes.

Con Ed services NY state but I gave them a NJ address and they took it.

We had the ComEd scammers calling years ago, asking for the phone number associated with the account and name. I gave them the number for the local Police Dept, non emergency. I said I was busy and asked that they call me back in 10 minutes when I was free. I never heard back on the number they called me at but I do wonder if the PD got a call.
