They list items on eBay that they do not own and do not have a right to sell on behalf of the owner. They collect payment through eBay, pocket the $, and then use stolen credit cards to order the "item" using the buyer's name through a 3rd party reseller, without the knowledge of the other two parties.
I bought an item from the seller for $25. It retails for $40 on BigLots.com.
The eBay purchase arrived on my doorstep, in a BigLots.com box.
I opened the box, and inside was a packing slip with an order# and my name/address on it.
I looked up the order on BigLots.com and sure enough, there is my name and someone else's stolen credit card# and a charge for $40 + 13 shipping + tax.
Look at the user's selling and listing activities, look at when all the items were listed and purchased (just in the last few days). Please report the user to eBay and flag their listings as fraudulent. I have already filed a police report and contacted both eBay and BigLots to let them know *I* am not the one who used a stolen credit card to place the BigLots order. I provided my proof that I actually bought the item through eBay and that I am a victim of Triangulation Fraud.
