So there’s a post with a “tech scam number” that number is not a tech support number plz dont post a regular citizens number on here n i think the mods missed that one cuz when i called a regular guy answered an kept sayin he has been recieving calls… [hint] one guy said it was a pizza place!!
Whenever I post numbers, I do have to check most of them just to make sure I’m not missleading scambaiters into calling innocent people.
You also have to consider the sources where the numbers come from. I never had people telling me there was a missleading number.
@HER#70444 You should check them before you post them. Scammers and Scambaiters are always throwing yuck yucks at each other where they give out false info…if a scammer thinks he can get you to call a regular person and waste their time then they will go for it.
They can also bridge your call with others. I regularly have scammers forward my calls to other scammers(usually their competition, I get forwarded to MPS a lot) or even random or maybe not random, people and businesses.

@Scambaiter956#70436… My number is known to a lot of people because it’s a business number and I get a lot of Spam ers calling. When I call them back sometimes it said number for a restaurant or somebody else … Some other times people call be asking if I called them because my number popped up on their colorati and I haven’t called anyone…
