I had a power outage while the VM was on and now VMware tools and other programs are pretty fucked, I was trying to reinstall VMware tools but it stuck on “Starting Services” and after a while it saying:
Install as admin.
I did, nothing works… there was nothing wrong with the permissions
Anyway I just backed up the files and reverted the machine to an earlier point of time
Fixed then.
