The scammer will send random friend requests to users on Discord. Once accepted, they will claim to have added you when they were exploring for new friends, asking if you are doing well.
They will then ask how your day is going, how your family is and what your name is. As this had signs of a standard romance/fuckbuddy scam, I sent them Grabify links to joke trojans under the guise of selfies from my time at the Zoo, though they were never clicked.
I then falsely claimed that my Facebook account was temporarily suspended, prompting them to have me communicate through Instagram. I am still reluctant to talk to them, but I did ask for them to provide me the link to their account, which is expected to arrive when they come back online.
