In this case, the bhenchod confirmed the actual identity of their company as Dhinda Max Health, LLC, doing business as Dhinda Software" which falsely claims to operate from a UPS Store in Grand Junction, Colorado.
- Once he remotely connected to my virtual machine, the bhenchod opened msinfo32 and then refused to “suppoat.”
- I called back and “Ryan” had me run QuickAssist before attempting to view my IP address through PrivateInternetAccess. I intercepted by claiming invasion of privacy and he responded by running Event Viewer to falsely claim the warnings and errors were “viruses” on my network, then msconfig to falsely claim some of the services were stopped by “hackers.”
- “Ryan” then opened Notepad to jot down what he plans to do before asking me to provide my name and email address so he can “find the best deals in my area.” The one he had in mind was an “advance network security” plan for $199.99 for year, $349.99 for 3 years or $499 for 5-years.
- I chose the $199.99 option and “Ryan” proceeded to download UltraViewer before asking me to pay with a Visa or Mastercard. I responded by paying with the Bhenchod Song.
