Delroy Escoffery ARRESTED for facilitating PCH scam

On September 8, 2025, the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office in Mississippi arrested Jamaican national Delroy Escoffery for facilitating a PCH scam, where:

  • Escoffery would call his victims, usually elderly citizens, to falsely claim they won millions of dollars in cash and merchandise.
  • In order to activate their nonexistent “winnings,” the victims will be asked to pay taxes in the form of checks or gift cards.

Escoffery, who frequently travels to the States, was arrested in Florida after attempting to cash in a check from a victim and flee the country shortly after. He will be extradited in New York for additional charges, and Prentiss County after being indicted by a grand jury for mail fraud and two counts of making false pretenses.
