Clowns trying to collect debts, using basic white pages to phone people and claim they have debts and they are trying to serve papers, they reference a make believe case number and say they are trying to serve papers from “Briar and Associates.” The US FTC has a warning on their website about fake debt collecdtors. Their case numbers are xx-xxxxx, just make up numbers for the x’s, it doesn’t matter. 844-599-6116
I tried to give them a fake case number and they weren’t having it.

that’s funny, they told me they were in Los Angeles. The 844 number is from BCM d/b/a Flowroute - an IP carrier that is under FCC scrutiny for allowing spoofed numbers in a Jury Duty scam . . . Currently BCM/Flowroute was issued a Cease and Desist for spoofing numbers a mere week ago.

Apparently some woman answered saying something about a “Real attorney’s office”
844 599 6116 called and spoke to lorna she was looking to play with something large, I made sure I gave her a large thing to think about knocking around.
Still active, this whole scam starts with a call from a spoofed number saying that they are arranging to serve papers for some sort of legal matter - they won’t say, but they give out this number to call. This is a well known scam . . . BBB has a page about this scam.
