Death Threats and Gift Cards

I received a death threat from a nice young man named James Adams. He told me that he was coming to Michigan (I really do live in Michigan, but I gave them a fake address.) They were offering free Walmart gift cards in exchange for a $1.95 transaction fee. Debit card information was required, as they would not take checks. I gave them fake card information, with a fake name (William Friedrichs.) They “ran it through their system” and said that the information was correct. After half an hour of requesting to know why I couldn’t pay in cash (even offering to send a check with extra money for their troubles) and yelling about trying to find my Social Security number, I revealed that I knew they were lying. I counted 4 different voices yelling at me. I told them all my card information was fake, and they called their manager over. He said, “So you have given my employees a fake number?” I confirmed it and he said, “So what is your real information?” I replied with “I don’t have a card.” He told me that he would transfer me to his boss and that he would talk to me. I was put on hold and was immediately met with “GIVE ME THE CARD INFORMATION.” I said “NO” and he immediately hung up. Since I was using BobRTC after the first call, (I used my cell phone for the first call) I called back 8 times. It was hilarious, and I gained some great stories to tell. James didn’t think so. He told me he would “get me” and when I asked what my address was, he said “15023 suck a [REDACTED], [REDACTED].” You can guess what he said in place of [REDACTED]. Anyways, I’m not very worried about him.
