I am gonna call now and if the criminal answers, I am going to play like I am very old and senile.
Crypto? I might be an old man, but I am not dead and in a crypt yet!
Your explanation of Crypto seems very cryptic to me, young man.
I just called and got a voicemail greeting as follows:
“Welcome to Coin Base. Please say your email and someone will get back to you shortly.”
Before I could leave a msg, immediately the (916) 866-5169 was calling me back. So I accepted the incoming call.
Eric Smith from Coin Base called me back!
I am acting very very very old.
Okay, after about 10 minutes or so he hung up without saying anything. I never broke script. I was the old rambling man the whole way through.
I asked what this “crytpo” stuff means.
He started explaining to me that it is like Bitcoin, that it is a type of currency.
“Currently? Yes, the present is the current. Or are you speaking about the current of a river, Mr. Eric Smith?”
“No, instead of paper money there is also crypto currency.”
“I thought you work for Coin Base, Sir. So are you speaking about money that is in the form of coins rather than paper?”
“No, I am speaking of digital money, digital currency.”
“I am an old man, Mr. Eric Smith, but I am not in a coffin in a crypt in a cemetery.”
“No, no, it is a type of currency.”
“You work for Coin Base, young man?”
“Yes.”
“Are you on a military base that has a bunch of coins, a bunch of nickels, pennies, dimes, and quarters?”
He finally hung up without cussing or saying anything to me. He must have believed that I am an old man whose mind in stiil in the 20th century.
