Wow, I found a semi-nice scammer - part of my MO is that i give some kind of sad story. today it was about my baby son (whom he could hear on the background) being sick with cancer (he’s not btw) and i was so worried that the people would steal my money which I had spent months working to save up so that we could buy his chemotherapy on Monday. I told him I was online trying to see if we could find somewhere to buy it cheaper when I got the message. He kept going as normal but then my son started crying and I went to console him. When I came back he asked lots of questions about it and then suddenly said: “Sir do one thing. Close everything down and then press the power button for 10 seconds.” After restart, he told me that this probably fixed it and I played around with firefox and it was no longer blocked (LOL). He said he was happy to help. I decided not to expose the scambaiter act so that he might have a little bit of a think about what he does (although he’s probably back to it as we speak). Nice to see that some of the at least do have their limits.
