I recently bought a monitor from someone for $25 on Craigslist. He claimed everything on it worked perfectly, and it did for a while when I got it. After I bought it, it started to get really hot and and an orange tint showed up on the screen.
I tried to see if there was something wrong with my computer settings, so I plugged in other devices, but the tint would not go away. I texted him about this and all he said is "my kids never saw a tint." I have pictures of our conversation if anyone is interested in seeing them. The photo he took of the monitor showed an orange tint, but I thought that was just a blue light filter. Guess I better think twice when I buy a monitor next time.
