This company claims to be selling N-95 masks (the highest grade face mask you can buy) for $30. They claim to always have 15 of the masks in stock. Which is complete BS. On top of that these masks likely do not meet the safety standards to be considered an N-95 mask. This will not protect you from the virus. So please, people DO NOT BUY trash masks. You will be better off making your own. Ill leave a link to a video if you want to learn how to make your own.
@anonymouse20#134791 My reason for stating that “these masks will not protect you from the virus’” is that I know for a fact they wont. Reason being to start, N95 masks are in short supply. Someone who has a supposed stock of 15 to 12 of these masks that are in limited supply is not going to sell them for $30 USD thats far too cheap. My second reason is they always claim to have around 15 of these masks available. I know I originally said 15 exact. But it seems like the stock fluctuates in order to give the illusion of it being sold. Also the “BreatheX Pro” is litterally a genaric face mask you can find on amazon for $17 that protects against dust and pollen. It is not even close to being N95 rated.
Also according to ViralPow’s website, the BreatheX is apparently trademarked. However no such trademark exist for that name or product.
(Again, please do not buy masks like that thinking it will protect you from the virus)
What they did was take a picture of a generic looking face mask and increase the contrast a little bit, slapped a basic name on it, and posted it to their site. Which if you think about it. Is quite messed up. You never know who is going to buy that. A health care worker who just so happens to not do research on that. And now they're wearying that thinking it will be sufficient enough to work around people with COVID-19.
I should have included this information originally.
@anonymouse20#134791 Just to show they are scammers, here is a fabricated website they made to impersonate MSNBC with the exact same advertisement as the smartertopics.com Ad
http://msnbchealth.com
It is NOT MSNBC's web site!
This looks like one of their websites too:
https://freshsleep360.com/mask/order
And their youtube channel:

I also have had a very bad experience with ViralPow - I ordered two masks that cost $94.85. Ordered April 9th, they have been sitting in a distribution plant since Apr 21 with no movement toward delivery. I’ve emailed THREE TIMES and was told that I’d receive a refund if not delivered in 4 weeks. It’s now 5 weeks and the package hasn’t moved and they’re backing away from their offer for refund. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM. They have “F” ratings with numerous complaints and a handful of positive reviews all posted then same day with “clients” saying their products have been delivered punctually. I asked for my refund and ow they’ve eliminated my transaction report from the link in my confirmation email – who does this?? BUYER BEWARE!!!
@anonymouse20#134689 you will be lucky if they even ship. I’ve been waking 7 weeks. They gave me a fake tracking number. They claimed in stock and American company. Both false. They are coming from China if they even ship. They took $220 from my credit card on 4/5/20 but still no masks. Scamscam scam.
@Glenys#138972 I’m waiting since 4/5/20. They were supposed to be in stock. I called to find out where they are and was told they were held up in customs. Why? They were supposed to be in stock. Also gave me a fake tracking number. They took the money from my credit card on the 4th and won’t cancel the order.
