Extra Info: I got a message from someone pretending to be a FB friend of mine talking about the Contingency Fund for Emergencies.

The scam link is (and I’m typing this out since I don’t think I can copy and paste and I won’t click on it)

They claim that I will receive money from UPS and to follow his instructions. I’ve reported his instagram account but someone smarter than me could possibly mess with him and waste his time. I tried creating a Grabify link to prove that he’s in Nigeria but I’m not getting it to work.

Edit: The Instagram account, which I’ve reported as my friend doesn’t even use Instagram at all, is nancylindsay770 if people want to help me report it.

I’ve been talking to the guy for an hour or so and he says that the co-coordinator’s text number is 616-577-7212.

Edit: I was trying sooooo hard to get a bank account number but apparently they will only do the clearance/delivery fee by Google Play cards. Uggh I was hoping to be able to shut down an account of theirs. Either way I’ve been texting them for what seems to be about 3 hours.

Now about 4 hours in. I wasn’t able to get a bank account but I was able to get a scammer email: [email protected]
